HOME WEDDING

At an exquisitely appointed home ceremony last evening, Miss Marjorie Bonner, daughter of Mr. J. H. Bonner of Lewiston avenue became the bride of Edward Herbert Towler, Reverend Franklin Augustus Martyr of St. Clement's church read the marriage ritual in the presence of relatives and closest friends of the young people. A reception and wedding supper followed the nuptials.
Quantities of pink peonies and rosebuds combined with delicate greenery were used in all the appointments of the home. The vows were plighted before an improvised altar of the blossoms and myriads of candles cast a subdued glow over the effective setting.
The bride who is a beautiful girl was a charming picture in her bridal robe of white crepe de chine fashioned with a court train. The veil of princess lace was worn in a cap effect and draped becomingly with clusters of orange blossoms as it fell in graceful folds. A shower bouquet of brides roses and lilies of the valley completed the costume. Mrs. Bonner gave her daughter in marriage.
Mrs. Olsen Haviside who attended her sister as matron of honor was attired in a pink brocaded crepe gown and carried pink roses. Miss Mertianna Towler, a sister of the bridegroom, rendered the wedding march and also served as maid of honor to the bride. Her gown was of white lace over white satin and her flowers Ophelia roses.

Mr. and Mrs. Towler have departed on a honeymoon trip and upon their return will make their home in this city.
Mrs. Towler is a graduate of the University and is a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She is a popular member of the younger smart set and has been the incentive for a number of pre-nuptial affairs since the announcement of her engagement.
